Looking at pop rock albums of the ’90s, very few – if any – are good as Weezer’s debut, The Blue Album. Tonight at the TD Garden, the outfit led by lord of the geeks Rivers Cuomo, never afraid to pin his nerdiness – or his heart – on his sleeve, bring the “Voyage to the Blue Planet” tour to Boston. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the masterpiece that spawned hits like “Say It Ain’t So” and “Buddy Holly,” the band will be playing it in full.
Check out my brief preview of it over at Vanyaland, and below my absolute favorite from the album, “The World Has Turned and Left Me Here.”
