This was a pretty unique one. Queens of the Stone Age, who are currently on the road playing a bunch of festival dates this summer, have announced a mini-tour to close out the long-running “The End Is Nero…” trek. To announce the dates, QOTSA keyboardist/guitarist Dean Fertita gave me the scoop over at Vanyaland as the run kicks off in Boston in late September at MGM Music Hall at Fenway.
The chat I had with Fertita was fairly brief, but we did get to talk shop about some of his previous bands, like The Waxwings, and how much he was looking forward to playing some non-festival sets. Dates, with The Kills (!!) on the bill as well, are below. Interview is hotlinked above.
